Duck! Anthony Joshua
Anthony Joshua and his camp seems to be using the Wladimir Klitschko fight as leverage in saying that Deontay Wilder hasn't fought a notable opponent other than Luis Ortiz. If Wilder incidentally did fight Dominic Breazeale, his last four fights would mimic Anthony Joshua's last four. Now Ortiz is no Klitschko by no regard, but for arguments sake we will place them in the same bracket. Being so Joshua and Wilder both fighting a tough fight which is notable, and fighting the same opponent in Breazeale, and two other random oppoenents. Mind You one of the other two of Joshua's was a 12 day notice Fight, due to injury of his expected opposition.
Duck! Anthony Joshua
Anthony Joshua said during an interview that a fight with him and Wilder is in the air, and proposed as a mega fight. He then states that the fight is said to be a 100 million dollar fight, and if so Wilders camp stated they were ok with a 60/40 split. Though the proceeds could have exceeded 100 million Joshua says give him 50 million upfront and he will take the fight. Well I don't think he should have said that because that is exactly what happened. Deontay Wilder and his camp made "The Offer".
Goose! Deontay Wilder
Deontay Wilder sent an e-mail with an offer for 50 million dollars upfront to Anthony Joshua. Though the offer was sent, we all know things aren't that easy. Stipulations about what country the fight would be held in naturally would come up, and understandably if you are none bias In your opinion. Joshua has developed a huge fan base in Europe, and wants to help to develop a strong foundation for the future of boxing. Or it could not be his true interest, and the interest Of Eddie Hearn who could be directing Joshuas career with his own self interest and gain in mind. Now Of course Anthony Joshua would stand to gain something, most of the power would remain in the hands of Hearn, instead of empowering Joshua. In turn Deontay Wilder ends up the Goose hear, seeming to be ducked by Joshua and his camp for various business-like reasons among people thinking Joshua is scared shirtless.
Deontay Wilder also tried to meet some ridiculous contract obligation in Hearn?Joshuas favor to get this fight done, so in conclusion he is definitely The Goose here.
